ARC Group Securities was proud to sponsor the Capital Markets and M&A Forum Tokyo 2026, hosted by ARC Group at The Ritz Carlton Tokyo. The forum brought together senior executives, investors, and advisors to examine the evolving landscape of U.S. capital markets and cross border M&A, with a particular focus on opportunities and challenges for Japanese companies accessing international markets.
As a United States registered broker dealer and FINRA member, ARC Group Securities contributed market driven perspectives on capital raising, public listings, and transaction execution, supporting informed dialogue throughout the day’s capital markets focused sessions.
U.S. Capital Markets Perspectives
During the forum, Roger Salazar, Jr., Managing Director and Head of Global Capital Markets at ARC Group Securities, participated in the Capital Markets Panel Discussion titled Current State of U.S. Capital Markets, Challenges for Japanese Companies and How to Overcome Them. The discussion addressed market conditions, investor expectations, and the practical considerations Japanese companies face when pursuing U.S. listings and growth capital.
Drawing on extensive experience across equity capital markets and SPAC transactions, Salazar shared insights into valuation dynamics, deal structuring, and strategies to position companies effectively for U.S. institutional investors.
“U.S. capital markets continue to offer meaningful opportunities for high quality international issuers,” said Roger Salazar, Jr. “For Japanese companies, success increasingly depends on early preparation, clear equity narratives, and a strong understanding of investor expectations in a more selective market environment.”
The panel was moderated by Ian Hanna, Chief Executive Officer of ARC Group Securities, who guided the discussion on regulatory considerations, market access, and execution challenges facing foreign issuers.
“Japanese companies are well positioned to access U.S. capital markets, but navigating the process requires disciplined preparation and experienced partners,” said Ian Hanna. “Forums like this provide an important platform for practical discussion around governance, compliance, and execution, helping companies better understand what it takes to succeed in today’s market.”
Supporting Cross Border Capital Markets Dialogue
ARC Group Securities’ participation underscored its commitment to supporting companies across the full lifecycle of capital markets transactions, from early-stage preparation to execution and aftermarket support. The Tokyo forum provided a valuable setting for open exchange between issuers, advisors, and investors actively engaged in cross border activity.
ARC Group Securities thanks ARC Group, fellow sponsors, speakers, and attendees for contributing to a constructive and insightful dialogue and looks forward to continuing its engagement with Japanese and Asia Pacific companies pursuing access to U.S. capital markets.
