ARC Group Securities is pleased to announce that Arun K. Batavia has joined the firm as Senior Advisor
Mr. Batavia brings more than four decades of experience across investment banking, technology, and telecommunications. He is the Managing Partner of Exit Strategy Partners, LLC. Mr. Batavia focuses on advising clients in the public capital markets and has advised special purpose acquisition companies and target companies across the software, cloud, renewable energy, medical devices, e-commerce, media and entertainment, biotech, and financial services sectors.
Previously, Mr. Batavia served as Managing Director at Corporate Finance Associates in San Francisco, advising early-stage and middle-market clients on M&A transactions, cross-border licensing, and asset sales. Earlier in his career, he founded ICS Information Technologies, a telecommunications software company, and served as principal architect of Summit™, a billing and customer care platform adopted by telecommunications carriers in the United States and Europe. Following the sale of the company in 1993 to LDDS Metromedia Communications, a predecessor of MCI WorldCom, he served as Vice President and General Manager of an information technology business unit at LDDS.
In his role as Senior Advisor, Mr. Batavia will support the firm’s capital markets and investment banking activities.
Mr. Batavia holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of South Carolina and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 licenses.
