ARC Group Securities LLC, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer and member of Nasdaq and NYSE American, today announced the launch of its research desk. This new offering adds research and market commentary to the firm’s existing capital markets, and brokerage capabilities, and will be led by David Riedel.
The research desk provides clients with independent analysis to support investment decisions across the markets ARC Group Securities LLC serves. This offering is intended to complement the firm’s existing capital markets capabilities with additional market insight for institutional clients.

David Riedel began his career in research at Salomon Smith Barney in both Asia and the United States. In 2003, he founded Riedel Research Group, an independent research firm focused on global emerging markets and has led operations at ARC Group Securities LLC (previously a privately held broker-dealer entity) since 2005. He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from the Sasin Graduate Institute of Business at Chulalongkorn University and is the author of Finding the Hot Spots: 10 Strategies for Global Investing (Wiley, 2006).
“Our approach is to focus on markets and sectors where we can add a distinct point of view, rather than covering the same ground as larger research providers,” said Mr. Riedel. “We’re looking for themes with real capital markets activity behind them, where our regional experience lets us go deeper than a general market overview.”
